for Very Effective Weight Loss.
Semaglutide is indicated for patients with type two diabetes and weight loss. Semaglutide (Wegovy Ozempic, Rybelsus) reduces blood sugar levels and reduces the risk of cardiovascular events such as heart attacks and strokes. Semaglutide is also very effective for weight loss. These medications are known GLP-1agonists. GLP-1 Agonists increase the release of insulin, lowers glucagon release, delays gastric emptying and reduces appetite. These small needle painless injections are administered weekly with a slow increase in dose at 4 week intervals.
Tirzepatide is another medication administered by injection to treat type 2 diabetes. This drug leads to significantly improved glycemic control and weight reduction in patients with type 2 diabetes. Tirzepatide has also demonstrated efficacy in weight loss, leading to its off-label use for obesity treatment. Among patients without diabetes, administering Tirzepatide at 5 mg to 15 mg once weekly for managing obesity led to remarkable reductions in body weight, ranging from 16.5% to 22.4% over 72 weeks.
Center for Age Management has launched a weight loss program incorporating the use of these medications. University Compounding Pharmacy will supply these medications which are often cost prohibitive at very affordable prices.
How to get started!
1. Fill out the online questionnaire and submit.
2. Submit your appointment request
3. Once you have successfully submitted your medical intake form, Center for Age Management will arrange for a comprehensive blood test to be conducted at a nearby Quest Diagnostics facility. This blood panel includes a Complete Blood Count (CBC), Comprehensive Metabolic Panel (CMP), Thyroid-Stimulating Hormone (TSH), Lipids, and Hemoglobin a1c (H1a1c) levels.
4. Virtual Visit - Upon receiving the results of your diagnostic laboratory tests, your Virtual Visit will be scheduled with Dr. Cole. Center for Age Management will collect 150.00 for your first visit. Your prescription will be sent to University Pharmacy.
5. Medical consultation with Dr. Cole will include: Review of medical concerns, dietary strategies, possible side effects, injection technique and how to reach us with your concerns.
6. Nursing will email you 1 week after starting medication. All issues will be communicated to Dr. Cole.
7. Follow up Virtual Consultation in 4 weeks. Dr. Cole Will decide a dose adjustment is indicated and a new prescription will be sent into University Pharmacy. Follow up visits will be 100.00/visit or prepay for 3 visits 275.00
